About the Speakers
Fr. Edward Looney was ordained a priest for the Diocese of Green Bay June 6, 2015, At a young age, Fr. Looney fostered a devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary, which has remained with him to this day.
During the summer of 2005 Fr. Looney made a Marian pilgrimage to the Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help (Champion, WI). During this pilgrimage, Fr. Looney experienced a profound re-awakening in his faith. https://www.edwardlooney.com/ |
Dr. Gloria Dodd
Director of Academic Programs at University of Dayton, International Marian Research Institute Dr. Gloria Dodd has degrees of a B.A. from Christendom College, a M.Div. and a S.T.L. from the Dominican House of Studies, as well as a Doctorate of Sacred Theology, International Marian Research Institute. Dr. Dodd is a professional member of the Mariological Society of America, the Fellowship of Catholic Scholars, and the Pontificia Academia Mariana Internationalis. She serves as an active member of the Legion of Mary. She was born in Washington, D.C., as the youngest of nine daughters. She has 24 god-children. Marilyn Fedewa
Writer Marilyn Fedewa has a background in higher education administration at Pepperdine University, Michigan State University, and Olivet College. She has written and spoken extensively on the life and legacy of María of Ágreda. Watch for her newest book on the life of her favorite mystic, titled Dark Eyes, Lady Blue (2018), written for young adults of all ages.

Vic Payne
Noted western sculptor and artist, Vic Payne has been sculpting for over 35 years. He was born in 1960 to sculptor Ken and Priscilla Payne. Moving to a ranch in New Mexico instilled in Vic the roots of the West and became central in the shaping of this sculptor’s character. His familiy's ranching heritage, tales of Billy the Kid, the Lincoln County Wars, pictures of paintings and bronzes by Charlie Russell and Frederic Remington made the “Old West” come alive and inspired Vic to try his own hand at sculpting.

Bishop Michael J. Sis
Bishop of the Diocese of San Angelo He studied Theology at the North American College in Rome, receiving degrees from the Pontifical Gregorian University in 1985 and the Alphonsian Academy of the Pontifical Lateran University in 1990.
He was ordained as a priest of the Diocese of Austin in 1986 and as Bishop of San Angelo in 2014. |
Bishop Emeritus Michael D. Pfeifer Bishop Emeritus served as the bishop of the Diocese of San Angelo from 1985 until 2014. He was a founder and supporter of the San Angelo Lady in Blue Celebration in 2008. His theme in life is "servant leadership." If people didn't come to the church, Bishop Mike took the church to the people. He is a very busy Bishop Emeritus who remains involved in San Antonio causes and The Lady in Blue celebrations.
