,Procession and Unveiling of the Sculptures
Starting at a distance from the site down to the statues, there will be a beautiful procession of Jumano descendants in simple native dress. When the Jumanos arrive at the statues, the statues will be unveiled. Vic Payne from Cody, Wyoming who created the three sculptures: a Jumano brave, Maria de Agreda (The Lady in Blue) with a Jumano girl-child at her side, will say a few words. The procession and unveiling will be free to the public and refreshments will be served. |
